Have you been bothered about your breath lately, well this might be the issue, bad breath can be brought about by dental issues like  gum disease which is caused by the buildup of plaque on teeth. If your mouth hygiene doesn’t come off, it may cause bacteria to come and disrupt your gums leading to bad breath.

Having bad breath can be discomforting and terribly embarrassing and It is easy for one to know  when they actually have bad breath. 

What causes bad breath even after brushing?

What you eat can affect your breath. Many times, the cause of bad breath is what you eat. Brushing or flossing can only get you so far when you are eating smelly foods like garlic, onions etc. Brushing can only cover up for a brief time. If you often find out that you have bad breath, it might be time to look at your diet.

A dry mouth can cause bad breath. If saliva isn’t present, this means that you don’t have something to neutralize  and cleanse your mouth from the different acids in your body hence causing bad breath.

Other conditions that may lead to bad breath include, excess acid in the stomach, diseases like cancer can cause breath disorder.

How to fix breath disorder:

Brush your teeth and scrub your tongue regularly. Preferably every after meal.

1. Use a mouthwash.

2. Visit a dentist regularly.

3. Chew some sugarless gum.

Remember that it is very easy  to maintain fresh breath as long as you follow and do the right things concerning dental care.
