I would definitely start with a good tuxedo or that little black dress but again, in this situation, we’re only gonna use them to fit in if they still have that perfect fit or use them for that trending #Don’tRushChallenge

Let’s get started:

  1. Good Wi-Fi connection: It’s important that you get up-to-date information about COVID-19 from the Ministry of Health and partner social media pages and take everyday preventive steps like washing your hands frequently, avoid touching your eyes, nose, mouth but most importantly stay home, stay safe.

  1. A positive attitude: A lot has been said about the “don’t panic” and “keep calm” and it’s only to ensure that we keep sane towards the situation. This too contributes to having a healthy state of mind. Stay woke!

  1. A plan: Now that you’re home from high school or campus, this would be a great time to think or rethink that plan. It’s always a good idea to have goals, plans and dreams for the future that enables us to focus and work towards achieving them. You just never know where that plan could get you. Scribble it down.

  1. Appliances: What’s quarantine without fun? It’s time to turn up that music on your phone or speaker and learn that dance move.

  1. A book: To me, a good read is a therapy. It could be a book about anything that speaks to you. Even if it’s only once in a while, that’s a good start.

  1. A mentor. These times can be challenging but finding someone to talk to about anything and learn from could turn out rewarding. This could be your parent, sibling, friend, or that one person you look up to. Make that call to them; it’s high time you had that chat.

  1. Fun apps: If you still haven’t downloaded the SautiPlus, Tik-Tok, and Houseparty apps, are you really bored even?  You could be physically away from your gang, but you’re just an app away from all the kaboozi. Stay connected!

  1. Movies: Who’s heard about “Money Heist” or “Extraction?”, Don’t be left out. Movies are just the best way to keep going through this curfew.

  1. A hobby. What’s your new-found quarantine hobby? For most of us, sleeping has definitely topped our hobby list now. But anyway,  a good rest is well needed. Just schedule time for that good read, write that blog and be sure to watch that documentary too.

  1. A toolbox: This could be the time to get handy around the house. They don’t have to be heavy tools, However, knowing how to properly hang a picture or tighten a screw in a door hinge is a good start. For the ladies, it could be a sewing toolkit to get all those torn edges fixed.

  1. Condoms: Did you know condoms protect you against HIV/AIDS and unwanted pregnancies? You could be quarantined with that special somebody. Well, if it’s not on, it’s not safe! Love the glove.
