YouthHubAfrica in partnership with the African Youth Commission with support from the UNFPA-UNICEF Joint Programme on the Elimination of Female Genital Mutilation is launching a call for entries for a visual and storytelling competition on the nexus of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
This competition is an activity on the Strengthening Youth Advocacies to End Female Genital Mutilation in Africa project and it targets young creatives, bloggers, artists and storytellers on the continent to use their existing platforms and expressions to advocate for the elimination of FGM in Africa.
WORTH
- $5000 in Cash Prizes.
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to:
- Young Africans aged 18 – 35
- Young people across all African countries
- Young girls and persons living with disabilities are strongly encouraged to participate
