FH’s primary goal is to end all forms of poverty worldwide. In Uganda, FH is operational in the Districts of Adjumani, Kitgum, Lamwo, Kween, Mbale, Namutumba, and Amudat Districts implementing programs in four main sectors of Education; Food Security and Livelihoods: Health/Nutrition and Disaster Risk Reduction; with the Head office located in Kampala.

Job Title: Project Officer
Position Type: Full Time National Staff
Location: Amudat
Reports to: Program Area Manager
Contract Length: 2 years (Fixed)
Start Date: Immediate (To be hired on a rolling basis)
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Veterinary medicine, Social Sciences, or related field with two years of relevant experience
• Fluency in written and spoken English is a must. Working knowledge of Pokot and other languages are spoken in Karamoja/ Amudat will be an added advantage
• NB: The job requires possession of riding experience and a valid riding permit.
