PSI is looking for a suitable candidate to take on the role of Digital Community Engagement Officer to Support the development and execution of the digital ecosystem, ensuring the optimal maintenance of the various digital platforms, brands, and programs of PSI, supporting the implementation, monitoring, and optimization of digital initiatives through paid and organic channels.
The Community Engagement Officer is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating both social and web-related content according to predetermined strategy and timelines, and ensuring quality control.

Your contribution
Creating monthly content calendars across all SNS platforms and functional web; 2. Deploy digital marketing campaigns including curation of content and tapping into existing women-centered movements to build an engaged online community for the different digital platforms for the social enterprise in Uganda;
Be the eyes and ears of PSI’s brands as if PSI’s own reputation depended on it; 4. Build and maintain brand content distribution networks by way of social media channels; 5. Drive consistent consumer engagement and responsiveness to all issues arising from the digital platforms that surround your brands; a
Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding PSI’s brand, and report to appropriate parties;
Interact with Quality of Care Team, Digital health team, and other authorities to ensure content is cleared for flighting ;
Create content for feeds and snippets in various social media sites;
Schedule content where necessary
Participate in social media, as yourself and white hat avatars, on our behalf;
Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns;
Monitor/track social media presence and key performance indicators; provide actionable analytics and lead the optimization of effective strategies.
Qualifications.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field; post-graduate qualification an added advantage
• 3+ years of using digital tools to improve health outcomes.
• Experience in digital communications, behavioral change, and/or marketing roles. • Experience in using digital health tools to improve health outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to use digital analytics and visualization software that are consumer-facing or workforce facing for example PowerBi to inform data-driven solutions.
• Experience with non-internet enabled digital solutions is an added advantage.

• Hands-on experience with social media management
• Ability to interpret website traffic
• Knowledge of online/digital marketing
• Self-reliant: a self-starter able to determine own work plan and flow for project success • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
