So the only visits we can have are inter-house, right? Boredom, tik tok videos, expensive data, panic, sleep in days, series (even feeling under stocked now), even some of our favorite shows are now screening from home like Trevor Noah’s Daily Show is now “THE DAILY SOCIAL DISTANCING SHOW.” New cases every day.  All we can really do is “stay together by being apart”, wash our hands and pray. Trying to keep it together can be a little challenging I am wondering what we may have done to anger God or the gods. Well here I am during one of my cross houses travels bringing you something on how you can keep sound mental health in general during this pandemic.

1. Keep that social distancing going 

Let’s keep to the Ministry guidelines, stay home! well, it will save you the anxiety coming with the uncertainty of who you met or what you touched anyway, so unless it is absolutely important please stay home, wash your hands and keep aeration at its pick.

2. Keep Updated 

With all the information going around it may be hard to know what is correct or not, be sure to follow the right platforms on social media for credible information. The Ministry of Health, credible media houses and oh well here we are for you at Sauti Plus so why not!

3. Read Some Novels

Let me just give a list of suggestions, from friends and me of course; Manchester Happened, Becoming Michelle Obama, The man of Stone Creek, 7 habits of highly effective people,15 Habits of Highly effective teenagers, Woman of Pursuit, Knights in Kampala, The Monk who sold His Ferrari, Smart Money Woman, Along for the Ride, Half of a Yellow Sun, Mom and Me, A Woman of Substance. Well, add your picks in our comments section below.

4. Do some physical exercise

So I and my friends started this push up challenge, just to keep fit AT HOME, so how about you pick out a few exercises you can do at home, to get that beer belly down hehe or just to keep in shape huh (all those hours of sleep may not be helpful), burpees, skip a rope, play some football or better yet join the push-up challenge

5. Family bonding

I know y’all don’t want to be chilling with your granny, pups, and mums, but guess what this could be an opportune time to hang not out but in with them. Many of us barely spend time with our siblings or even parents, so how bout you maximize those cross house travels ( Go see how your sister does her facials ), talk and take off time to know your families, (I just learned how me sister uses more than one lotion, body, and face and also that there is a thing called teeth whitening)

6.Self-reflection

Take off this time to plan your life, yeah, plan for what you want to do after all this(shows you have hope), this is our wakeup call peps. Know who you are most of all check on your friends.

So maybe quarantine time isn’t so bad so we have a little time on our hands to get ourselves in order, what are you doing with this time, well for us we are writing to you. Remember to keep safe,
