Now we’re sharing our poverty-eradication, entrepreneurial training with other non-profits around the globe so that they can deliver that same training to the people that they serve who are ready to lift themselves and their families out of poverty for good. Job Purpose:
The Regional Manager of Global Training position is a critical role in our organization because they are the glue that binds together our trainers and our Global Catalyst Partners, to one another, and to the respective group members.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years relevant experience with positive results
- Proven world-class facilitation skills and partner/client service (brag with your testimonials!)
- Confident and experienced in managing a training team that is diverse in culture, and in creating a fulfilling and dynamic work environment
- Experience in developing employee skills, conflict management, and creating teams with outstanding performers that have one another’s backs
- Experience leading effective planning and implementation across teams with a focus on both the multi-year goals and the ability to break that into monthly work plans with clear benchmarks
- Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
- Ability to work across time zones, and outside of “normal” work hours, to accommodate the same
- Unstoppable passion for doing the right thing and for getting the job done
- Crazy good organization and people skills (yep, we need both, not just one)
- Strong verbal and writing skills (used only for good, not drama)
- Experience using a variety of technology tools (Microsoft Office) with a preference for experience with Salesforce, TaroWorks, MailChimp, In-Design, Adobe Suite
- Ability to set and meet tight deadlines (without a tap, tap, tap on the shoulder)
- Ability to multi-task and think critically
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
- Ability to make independent decisions and judgments, and accept responsibility for making those decisions
- Team player and self-motivated
- Persistence and patience to help a traveling team and supervisor, where plans change, often…
- Background in non-profit or empowerment program is helpful
- The ability to manage with grace and humor in a fast-paced work environment is essential
Reporting to this position: SBS Global Trainers
Physical demands and work environment:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand, walk and sit. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The noise level is usually moderate.

Responsibilities
- Managing/growing GCP relationships by co-designing (with DGT) and proactively executing our GCP strategy, along with responding to them in a prompt, accurate, and relationship-based manner (appx. 1/3 of time)
- Co-managing and overseeing SBS Immersion Workshop schedule/task timeline with DGT
- Managing a diverse, global team of trainers, to ensure that all Workshops and any other related products are delivered at a world-class standard
- Co-managing and overseeing SBS Immersion Workshop schedule/task timeline with DGT
- Delivering Online and In-Person Workshops as schedule dictates, and an agreed-upon with DGT (could require international travel)
- Coordinating with Project Maestro to vet In-Person Workshop applicants, appropriately assigning and recording Scholarship/Bursaries
- Collaborating with the Manager of Global Training Creativity to ensure compelling, timely, and accurate newsletter production/distribution
- Collaborating with Senior Global Trainer, to ensure that all SBSE Trainers are properly cross-trained and certified to deliver Online as well In-Person Workshops
- Identifying, and sharing with DGT, continuous improvements to Online and In-person Workshop Operations
- Contributing to global research regarding competitive and complementary programs and good-fit partners
- Serving as active backup/support for Application Management processing
- Ensuring accuracy of Salesforce Dashboards, coordinating with M&E Department for same
- Providing support to Director of Global Training for a variety of projects, such as event/conference support, travel
- Creating and editing reports and communications
- Managing intellectual property/records
- Promoting a positive environment of fun, trust, stakeholder appreciation, continuous improvement, high performance, and accountability
- Collaborate with all other Training Team groups
- Other duties as assigned
