Hey fam, let’s talk solitude;
First of all, solitude is the condition or situation of being alone. Many times, we get busy with life, work, having fun with friends and family and so much more. But have you thought about the benefits of silencing your space and taking time off to reflect on your life? Well, if you haven’t thought about it, it might be time for you to ponder about it.
One thing to note is that deciding to be alone at times can be rejuvenating, but the important thing is that you choose something you enjoy. With that being said;
Let’s delve into some of the benefits of solitude.
Solitude boosts & sparks creativity and productivity. This is because you no longer have distractions to keep you from working on what needs to get done. Studies confirm that being alone often fosters creativity. There’s a reason a lot of authors want to go to a deckhouse or in isolation in the woods or a private studio to work because there, they will concentrate more. In addition to improving creativity, Studies consistently show people perform better when they have privacy.
I believe that teamwork makes the dream however, sometimes working with a team might not necessarily mean being around people. Studies show that being surrounded by people sometimes kills productivity. People perform better when they have little privacy.
Don’t get caught up in life’s business, take time off to sit and reflect upon your life. Being alone with your thoughts gives your brain a chance to wander, which can help you become more creative and make better decisions.
As much solitude is important, remember that too much of anything is always bad. Finally, stay safe, stay happy, but above all stay committed to living a healthy and productive life.
