From stigmatization to inaccessibility, persons with disabilities experience profound challenges on a daily. Around the world, a number of negative perceptions have repeatedly been portrayed concerning persons with disabilities and this has brought about barriers that hinder them from living productive and successful lives. An English man once said “ A negative attitude toward disability is one of the potential barriers ” Scott Hamilton also noted that “The only disability in life is a bad attitude. In order to change mindsets and create awareness about the rights of persons with disabilities, Reach a Hand Uganda together with Light for the world released a music production titled “Did You Know”

This song was released on the 19th of July 2022 with the intention of empowering persons with disabilities to feel proud of their potential and abilities. It is also based on creating awareness that persons with disabilities are human, they have rights, and are able to do anything they set their minds to. This song was written by Gabriel Longes aka Air Jay featuring Daxx Kartel and produced by Atin Pro! It is certainly without a question that this jam is a great inspiration that is going to positively impact and cause a tremendous change in mindset!
