Douglas Lwanga, widely known for his television personality, has finally launched an initiative that promises to be the answer to the unemployment challenges that the youth are facing in this country.
Dubbed “Purple skills Klinic Foundation“, this initiative aims to empower young people with various skills disciplines, and with partnership from Reach A Hand Uganda, being one of the top youth-serving and impactful organizations in Uganda, we could be looking at a country filled with empowered youth living the lives they deserve.
This is how Purple Skills Klinic foundation plans to get things done;
Skills training workshops shall be organized bringing together resource persons who will mentor youth in tones of skills at a no coin expense.
Internship placements for the trainees shall be offered to allow them to practice what they learned in a work environment as they gain work experience.
Skills Klinic shall partner with vocational institutions that shall offer bursaries for the Skills Klinic trainees to help them further their skills in Education.
In the training game, youth will be grouped and capital shall be lobbied for them to inform of machinery that they can use to put their skills to the test.
A Skills Klinic Foundation officer will also make visits to schools where they will conduct career guidance to assist learners in career decision-making.
This opportunity is pretty sick, right!!! You can enroll here if you want to be part.
