We are looking for an internationally qualified Elementary Music Teacher for the next academic year, starting August 2021. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated professional who is able to inspire students of all abilities and has a natural enthusiasm or ability to deliver creative and innovative lessons. We expect our teachers to be reflective practitioners who can evaluate their own practice and develop the learning in their classroom. We are also interested in teachers who have experience in using dynamic and creative ways to biblically integrate the curriculum.
Heritage International School is an all-age Christian international school located in the suburbs of Kampala, Uganda. It opened in 1994 to support children of ex-pat missionaries but has since expanded to welcome those of all faiths and none, whilst still remaining true to its core Christian values. We have over 40 nationalities represented and are currently moving towards our full capacity of 550 students.
We offer a generous benefits package to our international staff. In addition to a monthly salary, you will be awarded return flights per year of the contract, school housing or alternatively a monetary housing allowance, two bursaries for staff children, and medical insurance.
