12th August 2018 will mark the International Youth Day this year, and we are going all out on it. Together with partners under the SRHR Alliance and stakeholders, we are out to ensure inclusive safe spaces for youth especially those from diverse backgrounds. We will be in Eastern Uganda, the land of the rising sun in Jinja district engaging young people through interactive SRHR popups in the different communities, Focus group discussions and movie shows. We will also offer Integrated SRHR services and information, HIV/AIDS counselling and testing, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), Family Planning and Gender Based Violence (GBV). We will close the day with great performances from our cultural icons. Missing this is definitely not a good idea.
